At MechMaxx®️, we are committed to providing you with high-quality heavy machinery and equipment. Because our products are large, heavy items shipped via freight carriers, we have established clear guidelines to manage returns, exchanges, and cancellations effectively.

1. Return and Exchange Eligibility
You may return or exchange eligible products within 30 days from the date of delivery.
Non-Returnable Items:
To maintain our quality standards, the following items are strictly non-returnable:

Products that have been opened and are no longer wanted (for non-quality related reasons).

Products damaged due to negligence, unauthorized modifications, or natural disasters.

Products damaged due to non-compliance with user manuals or use in non-product design environments.

Products damaged due to natural wear and tear on consumable parts (e.g., belts, blades).
2. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
We do not accept returns without prior authorization.

Step 1: Obtain Return Authorization. Email our customer service team at shipping@mechmaxx.com. You must include a photo of the item in its original packaging and provide a detailed reason for the return.

Step 2: Await Approval. Once approved, we will confirm the correct return warehouse address with you.

Step 3: Exchanges (If Applicable). If you are requesting an exchange, please include the SKU of the desired product in your initial email. To expedite the exchange, we recommend purchasing the new item immediately. Once we receive and inspect your returned goods, your original order will be refunded.
3. Repackaging and Safety Requirements
All products must be returned in their original packaging for safe transportation. MechMaxx®️ is not liable for losses or damages caused by improper return packaging.

Palletized Shipments: If your product is shipped back on a pallet, it must be secured with heavy-duty ropes or straps and covered with cardboard or plastic to prevent overturning and transit damage.

⚠️ HAZMAT Warning (Federal Law): Federal law requires that all machines using gasoline, petroleum, or other flammable liquids be completely drained of these fluids prior to shipment. Covers and plugs that held flammable liquids must be naturally ventilated and dried for a minimum of 24 hours before transport. Please note: The legal responsibility and liability for violating this law belong entirely to the sender of the goods.
4. Order Cancellation Policy
Because processing and freight shipping involve significant non-recoverable costs, cancellations are subject to strict stage-based rules. A cancellation is not effective until you receive written confirmation from MechMaxx. To request a cancellation, email general@mechmaxx.com immediately with your full name, order number, phone number, and reason for cancellation.
Stage 1: Order received, not yet processed
Payment authorized; warehouse processing has not begun.

Customer-Initiated: Order may be cancelled. A 3% payment processing fee will be deducted from your refund.

MechMaxx-Initiated: Full refund (no fees apply).
Stage 2: Order processed, pending shipment
Order is picked/packed, palletized, or assigned to a carrier (BOL in preparation).

Customer-Initiated: Order may be cancelled. A 3% payment processing fee will be deducted. No freight charges apply if the shipment has not yet been handed over to the carrier.
Stage 3: Shipment in transit (BOL issued / Picked up)
The carrier has picked up the freight; the order is considered "shipped."

Customer-Initiated: If you request cancellation, you are responsible for the outbound freight cost, return freight cost, and a 3% processing fee.
Stage 4: Delivery attempted or refused
Carrier attempted delivery, or shipment was refused/undeliverable.

Customer-Initiated: If delivery is refused for non-quality reasons, or if you are unavailable, provide an incorrect address, or lack unloading equipment (e.g., a required forklift), you are responsible for: Outbound freight, return freight, storage/holding fees, redelivery fees, and accessorial/liftgate fees, plus the 3% processing fee.
5. Shipping Costs and Fee Deductions
Because of the heavy nature of our machinery, shipping is a major expense.

Freight Costs: Typical one-way freight costs range from $300 to $1,200, depending on the product's weight, size, destination, and shipping method.

Customer Remorse Returns: If you return an item or refuse delivery due to buyer's remorse, both the original outbound shipping cost and the return shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. You may ship it back yourself to our designated warehouse, or we can arrange a logistics company for pickup at your expense.

Carrier & Storage Fees: Any extra carrier charges (redelivery, limited access, storage) resulting from customer-caused delivery failures will be deducted from the refund.

Defective/Damaged Items Exception: If manufacturer defects or carrier damage is confirmed (and reported properly upon delivery), MechMaxx will repair the unit, replace the unit, or issue a full refund without deducting freight charges or processing fees.
6. Refund Process and Timing
Once the returned product arrives at our warehouse:

We will inspect the product and packaging to ensure it meets our return conditions.

We will calculate your final refund (Original Order Total minus applicable 3% processing fees, freight costs, and storage/damage deductions).

We will process the refund to your original payment method within 5 business days of receiving the package. (Please note that your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to post the funds to your account).

Please do not send items back without authorization. Contact customer service for the exact return address before returning any product, as your return location will depend on your proximity and the product type.
