Shipping Policy
At MechMaxx, we strive to process and deliver your heavy machinery and equipment as safely and efficiently as possible. Because our products are large, heavy items shipped via specialized LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) freight carriers, our shipping procedures differ from standard parcel delivery.
Please review this policy carefully so you know exactly what to expect when ordering from us.

1. Order Processing and Handling Time
All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification, including your tracking number and carrier details, when your order has shipped.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. If there will be a significant delay in the shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.
2. Transit Times and Delivery Estimates
Once your order has been processed and picked up by our freight carrier, the estimated transit time is 3 to 7 business days.

Carrier Assignments: We ship from multiple warehouses (California, New Jersey, Texas, and Illinois) and will route your order through the closest facility with available inventory to minimize transit time.

Delays: Delivery delays can occasionally occur due to extreme weather, carrier backlogs, or limited access to your delivery location. MechMaxx is not liable for delays outside of our control once the Bill of Lading (BOL) is issued and the item is in transit.
3. Freight Shipping Costs
Shipping costs for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Because of the size and weight of our machinery, we utilize LTL freight.

Typical one-way freight shipping fees range from $300 to $1,200, depending on the product's weight, dimensions, delivery distance, and specific shipping method required.

Any promotional "Free Shipping" offers apply only to standard freight delivery to accessible commercial or residential locations within the contiguous United States.
4. Freight Delivery Requirements (Important)
Freight delivery is different from standard UPS or FedEx parcel delivery. By placing an order, you agree to the following conditions:

Delivery Appointments: The freight carrier will contact you at the phone number provided at checkout to schedule a delivery window. You or a designated representative must be present to sign for the delivery.

Site Accessibility: Your delivery location must be accessible for a 26-foot to 53-foot freight truck.

Unloading: Standard freight delivery is "curbside." If you do not have a forklift or loading dock, you may require a Liftgate Service (if not already selected at checkout, the carrier may charge an additional fee for this).

Missed Appointments: If the carrier cannot complete the delivery because you are unavailable, provided an incorrect address, or the site is inaccessible, the shipment will be held at a local terminal. You will be responsible for any resulting storage fees, redelivery fees, or return freight costs. (See our Return and Refund Policy for details).
5. Inspecting Your Delivery for Damage
Do not sign the Bill of Lading (BOL) until you have fully inspected the shipment.
It is your responsibility to inspect the packaging and the machinery upon arrival. If you notice any visible damage to the product or packaging:

Take clear photos of the damage immediately.

Note the specific damage directly on the carrier's delivery receipt/BOL before signing.

If the item is severely damaged, refuse the delivery and contact us immediately.

Report the damage to MechMaxx customer service at shipping@mechmaxx.com within 24 hours of delivery.
Failure to note damage on the delivery receipt releases the carrier from liability, which may impact our ability to issue a replacement or refund.
6. Shipping Restrictions

P.O. Boxes: Due to the size of our products, we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. A physical street address is required.

International Shipping: Currently, we only ship within the contiguous United States. We do not offer direct international shipping or shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or US Territories through the website.
7. Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive an email containing your tracking information and the freight carrier's contact details. Please allow 24 to 48 hours for the tracking information to update in the carrier’s system.
